So our favourite heroes, the Mickin bros, reached the end of their underwater adventure. They would have loved to persevere on their journey and meet other exciting sea creatures, but I was lazy so it ends here.

Adding onto the band of misfits, the arrival of mermaids seemed to save the day, if anything else, by adding fuel to fire.

Page 3 now guys. So this whole series took a year to complete. Yup, the production level is on par with those hollywood movies. So you better enjoy it.

During school, college and even uni, everything was laid out and set accordingly. I'm saying like you are expected to go to primary school for 6 years, secondary school for 5 years, college for 1 year and uni for 3-5 years.

But once you started working, you are left at your own pace. Nothing is set anymore.

Sure the social norm expect you to get married, start a family, work up the corporate ladder... yet there is no set order on what you should accomplish next. You may opt for a career change. You may lose your job and be homeless. You may run off to Africa to help starving kids.

I feel after uni you are constantly place in crossroads of life's decisions. You have to strive to achieve what you think you ought to achieve. May it be focused on family, career, dreams or others. I don't mean to make it sound like it's a bad thing, and it's not.

Those who know what they want usually do well. For me, having a strong will and decision making is not a forte.

So like recently my time on Digg is slowly being replaced by Reddit.

I really have to thank these kind of sites for helping me find joy in life. Like who knew you could make a fly-plane. ftw.

It's not easy keeping up with the latest fashion and trends. So in order to make myself look cool or ''hip'' again, after careful considerations, Internet meme seem like the most viable option. I've ruled out hacking and planking. One because of feds and the other because it can cause death.

I decide to take a swipe at Weekly Shonen Jump, for not giving me my weekly manga readings. It hurts badly enough waiting a week for the latest chapter, but making you wait two weeks should be considered a crime.

fffuuu/rage guy

y u no guy

...and i don't even know what 'guy' is this.

To help understand your internet meme.

Here's a rare treat. For once, something about myself. I have a handphone.

Oh yea, what's so special about it? It's my first handphone. And all I know is that it's a Samsung. Don't really know what model it is, but it must have been made in the era when flip-phones were the coolest thing ever. You flip the phone open like a boss.

So it's old, but that doesn't make it special. Yes it does. I have had this phone since 2005. It's roughly 7 years old. In human lifetime, that's like watching a baby grow up, learning to walk, speaking its first word, attending kindy and first day at primary school. It's got sentimental value, that's for sure. And if I were to keep this phone any longer, I'm afraid it will become a Japanese Tsukumogami spirit.

Any item would last if you take good care of it. That's true for most part. But I can't say I was the most careful person while using this phone. I've dropped it numerous times, and it has scars akin to an old samurai sword. The durability is amazing. The most famous tale was when my phone was submerged in a pool of water. You could see water filling up the screen just as if it was a mini aquarium. I gave up hope then. But a miracle happened when I tried turning it on a few days later, and it just... worked.

One thing I've learnt while owning a phone is that it is very important not to overcharge the phone batteries. I repeat, don't overcharge the phone batteries. But as the years went by, negligence caught up with me, and the drops also became more frequent. My phone started to loose some of its functionality. I've observed quirky traits pertaining to that of an old person. The screen was more laggy (slower motor response). I had to talk louder into the speaker end (deafness). Errors during SMS (poor memory). Randomly switches itself off (dozing off). The battery life is now almost non-existent (easily fatigue).

It's quite saddening. The thought of parting with something that kept you company at home; at the beach. Studying at uni; sitting for examsBirthday parties; church services. Eating at restaurants; grocery shoppingOn a road trip; boarding a flight homeFamily reunion; old classmate meetups. When you're sick; slaving at work. Uni graduation; first job. Meeting new friends; saying farewell to old friends. Hanging out with buddies; all alone. All those memories. I'm not a big fan of change. But I think it's time to let go...

So like the world didn't end... again. Even if it did, I would have died a happy man. Cause I had sushi buffet last night. We ate like there was no tomorrow. XD

And since the apocalypse didn't happen, now I have to continue on preparing for things happening in my life. Such as the upcoming summer blockbusters! Let me share my strategy with you guys...

If that doesn't hype you up, there's always Lego to help. Movie ads in Lego. Or maybe a Lego trailer will. Hmmm.... there's now a strong possibility next apocalypse prediction will be destruction of human race through sentient Legos.

So some of you may have heard KFC's Double Down has reached Australia. At first I was pretty skeptical about the Double and it's actual size. Walaubagaimanapun, I embrace the aussie spirit and gave it a go. It was $10 for a combo meal. The chicken pieces were just the right size. The cheese was the sandwich kind of cheese. And the bacon wasn't crisp brown as shown, mine was still pinkish. Well, I must say it was pretty satisfying for a meal. Maybe due to my low expectation it turned out not so bad.

Since we're on the topic of burgers, did you know I failed in my attempt to eat McD's Prosperity Burger while in Malaysia... not like anyone really cares :(

Somehow I think Facebook killed blogging...

With quick status and photo updates, you don't have to post on blogs anymore.

Twitter is also another prime suspect.

I’m here in Kuching – Land of Abundant Food. This time my goal is to consume McD’s Prosperity Burger. It has yet to be achieved. Anytime now.

I’m rocked by the news of soaring food prices. Will it affect Kuching? Will the future of local food lovers be threaten?

Even though Kuching is the Land of Abundant Food, obesity doesn’t hold any reign. Why? Because even though we cook noodles in pork oil and deep fry almost every other food, we don’t investigate the nutritional value. So the moral of this story is What you don’t know, can’t hurt you… for now.” Unlike our Western counterpart, food nutritionists are doing too well of a job that they scare the bejeezus out of food lovers. Behold, 40 burgers that can KILL you!

Or maybe food lovers there need to be less passionate, as shown…

Whenever I go back to Kuching, I never fail to go seek out old stuffs. Running my fingers through shelves and cupboards, I would pull out those dusty toys, comics, drawings, clothes, and photos albums.

Something about me : I like to reminisce over the past. And photos are the best tools in doing that. Most of my old photos were taken when I was a toddler. I would spend the afternoon reading those albums like a book. I would also gaze at family portraits around the house, especially the ones which are ritually taken every Chinese New Year. I would go through them in sequence and trying to squeeze out as much memories off them. Another thing which I go through are old clothes. I have no idea why my parents still keep those clothes eventhough I had outgrown them years ago. Some of them are still sitting in the wardrobe. It amuses me how those favorites clothes which I thought were cool, seems so lame now.

Toys. Where do I begin. I was fortunate enough to own an armada of toys. I loved playing with Lego. I had heaps of Batman figurines and an old-school Godzilla toy (which I still reckon might be an expensive collectable despite a few broken parts.) I’m feeling a bit of Andy in Toy Story 3 now. I didn’t read much books when I was young, unless comics are classified as books. Not exactly Marvel or DC type comics, but I read Doraemon, Archie, Dragonball, and Lat. I believe that comics were what inspired me to start drawing.

I drew a lot when I was growing up. There’s a pile of drawings stacked in one of the cupboards. Personally, this is like an archeological site, with my art styles evolving over the years. I was easily influenced by various cartoons and comics, gathering inspiration from them. And I not only just drew, my little self was so full of imagination that I created characters with fictitious background stories and even gave them a world to live in.

For me, going home is going back to pick up pieces of memories I left behind.
